The unveiling of TOSAN Techno solution for online authentication solution using the national smart card on VTM and CRS channels of Bank Melli IRAN in the presence of Farhad Dejpasand, Minister of Economy and Finance, Masoud Pezeshkian, Vice President of Parliament, Hamid Derakhshannia Deputy Minister and Head of the Civil Registration Organization and Mohammadreza Hosseinzadeh, CEO of Bank Melli IRAN, was held at the central building of the bank. During the unveiling of the services related to the implementation of the national smart card, the application was unveiled.

Melli Show event aims to introduce the new achievements of the Bank Melli IRAN every year and during this event, the Bank’s latest solutions are unveiled and put into operation. At Melli Show 2, which took place on Sunday, February 24, 2019, an online authentication solution using the national smart card was launched on the VTM and CRS channels of Bank Melli IRAN to provide banking services. This solution provides self-service (such as receiving and paying cash through ATMR machines) using a national smart card without the need for a bank card.

This is the first step in removing bank cards in IRAN, and with the development of this solution and the inclusion of it, we will see that customers can only use a single national smart card from different banks’ self-service machines, without the need for a password to get their banking services. These achievements were unveiled by the Honorable Minister of Economy, Vice President of the Parliament, CEO and Members of the Board of the Bank Melli IRAN, and numerous banking industry executives and active companies in the industry.
