The Unveiling of the cash in/out solution based on e-wallet through the CRS in Melli Show 4 in compliance with health protocols and with the presence of Abbas Memarnejad, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Mohammadreza Hosseinzadeh, CEO and Masoud Khatouni, Deputy Minister of Information Technology and Communication Network of Bank Melli IRAN, as well as several members of the board and senior managers of the bank and companies providing solutions in the field of financial technologies, was held at the central building of the bank and at the same time was broadcast virtually online on electronic platforms.

Melli Show event aims to introduce the new achievements of the Bank Melli IRAN every year and during this event, the Bank’s latest solutions are unveiled and put into operation. At Melli Show 4, which took place on Monday, February 22, 2021, a cash in/out solution based on e-wallet was launched on the CRS channels of Bank Melli IRAN to provide banking services.

At present, according to available statistics, more than 93% of the total electronic banking transactions have under 2,000,000 Rials amounts in IRAN. However, with the advent of e-wallets, it is possible that small transactions take place in this context, and of course, with the expansion of the use of bank cards and the development of banking applications, cash exchange is still inevitable.

Using the new solution provided by TOSAN TECHNO for Bank Melli IRAN, it is easy to receive and pay cash based on the electronic wallet on CRS banking machines at any time of the day and night through the electronic wallet application of Bank Melli IRAN. This solution starts using the menu in the e-wallet application of Bank Melli IRAN to receive or pay cash and continues through scanning the QR code displayed on the bank’s CRSs.

This solution has been presented for the first time by Bank Melli IRAN in the IRAN and it can be hoped that by using it, another step will be taken in order to take delivery services out of the branch and the user experience of using electronic wallets will be improved.
