The unveiling ceremony of TOSAN TECHNO production line of Smart Card Readers with the presence of the Vice President of IRAN for Science and Technology was held on Monday, July 19, in the Caspian Industrial City of Qazvin.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Sorena Sattari, Vice President for Science and Technology and President of the National Elite Foundation, Dr. Hedayatollah Jamalipour, Governor of Qazvin, Dr. Azizollah Afzali, Head of Qazvin Industry, Mining and Trade Organization, Engineer Hamidreza Khanpour, CEO of Qazvin Industrial Towns Company, Dr. Mohammad Mazaheri, TOSAN TECHNO CEO, Omid Shahrokhi, Vice President of Hardware Product Production and a group of managers, supervisors, and experts of the company and under the pretext of opening the production line of IM30 smart electronic payment terminal for outdoor (Outdoor), A920Pro smart electronic payment terminal and E800 integrated smart terminal was held.

The main application of IM30 smart electronic payment terminals is to perform electronic payment operations in open spaces (Outdoor) and self-service devices or vending machines. Therefore, electronic payment mechanization in refueling stations is possible through this smart card reader, and these stations are one of the main places to use this solution. IM30 solution with IP and IK standards has successfully passed the steps of receiving external and internal standards. The E800 integrated smart terminal can also be used to cloud-based the management system of an online business. These smart cash registers eliminate the need for vendors to install a separate card reader and facilitate payment for the business owner and customer by integrating the store’s software and hardware. The A920Pro smart electronic payment terminal also uses the android platform to create connections between fintechs, banks, and electronic payment companies, and to provide innovative services at the point of sale. All three of these solutions have tremendous development capacity and support for improving business processes due to being equipped with the android operating system.

In the production site of TOSAN TECHNO and in the production section of electronic payment card readers, the annual production of 424 thousand devices of various types of android electronic payment terminals and cloud smart store cash registers has been targeted and implemented. Meanwhile, a fixed investment of 2000 billion Rials has been made to launch this site and the working capital of this project is 8600 billion Rials. Also, in order to optimize the production process in this site, an intelligent production line management system has been used, in which all stages of its production and development have been designed and implemented by the specialists of TOSAN TECHNO Company.

Production of smart electronic payment card readers and banking machines in the IRAN, reducing the country’s dependence on providing hardware and software required by the electronic and banking payment industry, transferring modern technologies to the country such as online authentication service through the face and fingerprint recognition and helping to create jobs in various industries such as petrochemicals, steel, electronics, and plastics has also been important in setting up this production site.

The ceremony took place almost 3 years after the launch of the TOSAN TECHNO production site, and currently, 500 people are directly and indirectly involved in the production process of this site.
